Royal Caribbean - Allure Of The Seas

Updated: Jan 16, 2023

Time to Travel advisor, Lindsey Hart, was invited to sail on RCCL's Allure of the Seas as it left the port of Galveston for the very first time. Here is what she had to say about her time in Galveston and on the ship:

My husband and I love Royal Caribbean! We have enjoyed every cruise we’ve ever gone on, however, the Allure of the Seas is our absolute favorite ship now!!

The first thing that impressed us was Royal Caribbean’s new port in Galveston! The Allure is the largest ship to sail from Galveston, and we got to experience the brand-new port built for it! It was absolutely beautiful, and we had the fastest boarding/security experience ever!!

We LOVE the food on any RCCL ship and had wonderful food every day at the Windjammer, the main dining. We also took advantage of room service!

You can’t beat the entertainment onboard and watch as many shoes as possible. My favorites were Mama Mia and OceanAria at the Aqua Theater!

There were several things on the Allure that I hadn’t experienced on other ships before! Some of my favorites were Central Park, the Aqua Theater, and the boardwalk!

The activities onboard were endless There was mini golf, zip lining, ice skating, live music & more! There is something for every age onboard the Allure!

I LOVED the solarium which is an adult-only area of the ship! You can find pools, whirlpools, a bar, and a bistro! It was beautiful and quiet!!

The Allure is a beautiful ship with amenities for everyone! We are already making plans to take our family back to enjoy it again!! If you are interested in planning a vacation on the Allure, or any RCCL ship, please contact Time to Travel.
