It’s been a full week since we returned from Cabo and I am still dreaming about it!
We frequently go to the Riviera Maya/Cancun area of Mexico but Cabo has been on my list for years, so glad we made the trip!
Cabo is the nicest area of Mexico that I have visited. The area is a mountainous desert with a beach…think Northern Arizona with a beautiful ocean. It is the Baja!
We stayed at Montage Los Cabos, a beautiful 5-star luxury resort located on the swimmable beach of Santa Maria Bay just 24 minutes from the airport. From the moment we arrived, we were spoiled with the specialty margarita welcome drink, early check-in, and a room upgrade. What a nice start to our vacation!
We also visited several different resorts and restaurants including AQUA at The One &Only Palmilla and Acre Restaurant at Acre Hotel. The One & Only Palmilla is located in the original resort area in Cabo. This luxury resort has a traditional Mexican style with a Spanish Colonial design while overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Acre Resort is located inland and accommodations are treehouses in the jungle. How cool is that?!
While we were there, we visited the port and did a sunset cruise to see the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, which was a highlight of our trip! The sunsets in Cabo are amazing!
Let’s talk about the weather-fall and early spring are the BEST times to go to Cabo! The weather was perfect all day, every day. We both kept saying that over and over. Not too hot, no sweat! It was a little cooler in the evenings but PERFECT weather!
Who’s ready to go to Cabo?!!
